I've done it for the beta2 version of python21... and actually is a mess, as wxPython 2.2.5 use distutils for build the library... but not the version of distutils released with python21... In the cvs there are the python distutils related files usable with python21 distutils, but, last week, I wasn't capable of rebuild the library for a problem of compilation in one file of the cvs wxPython c file...
