Python is not GPL'ed, but I think you would need to know the
details of your propspective employer's contract - likely with
the consultation of a laywer.

However, Microsoft has shipped products which for a while were
based at least partially on Python (see Greg Stein's talk at the
6th Python conference) so I can't see how there would be a problem.
