Hello,
      I am running Linux SuSE 7.1. I installed ActivePython but it didn't have the docs or tools dirs (and I think more was missing). I then removed it and tried compiling the standard python.org 2.1 .tgz. It compiled and installed fine but still no docs or tools dir even though they are in the tgz file. Is there some config value I need to set? Sorry for the stupid question but I normally just use the ActivePyton install. I can't get any reply to my question on their list (maybe they missed the same config option I did?). Anyway thanks for your time,
