Does this message forebode a minor inconvenience or a major catastrophe?

WARNING: Python C API version mismatch for module _mysql:
This Python has API version 1009, module _mysql has version 1007.

I am running python2.0 and MySQL-python-0.3.5-1.i386.rpm.  I don't see a 
newer version of MySQLdb on their site.

Thanks ahead for any advice.
