Does 4.0 show a general slowdown on your test machines? I saw a drop<br>of average Pystones from 44000 to 40000 and from 42000 to 39000 on<br>my boxes switching from GCC 3.4.6 to 4.1.1.</blockquote><div><br>Yep, looks like it does. Don't have time to run more extensive tests, though (I'd have to make sure the machine is unloaded for a much longer period of time, and I don't have the time :)
