Not to dredge up a thread from 1.5 years ago, but I guess I will.. :-)

Did anyone actually implement a __future__ import or SOMETHING to
disable the annoying "FutureWarning: hex/oct constants > sys.maxint
will return positive values in Python 2.4 and up". There was some
discussion that there should be a way to suppress this message before
2.3 went out the door, but I don't see any indications on the mailing
list (or in the code) that there's any way to suppress the message.
