Not to dredge up a thread from 1.5 years ago, but I guess I will.. :-) Did anyone actually implement a __future__ import or SOMETHING to disable the annoying "FutureWarning: hex/oct constants > sys.maxint will return positive values in Python 2.4 and up". There was some discussion that there should be a way to suppress this message before 2.3 went out the door, but I don't see any indications on the mailing list (or in the code) that there's any way to suppress the message. -- Nick
