We don't use the Python Windows installer.  Our app
has to use its own installer, and I would then have to run
two installers, one of which I don't understand.

Sorry to be such an old fuddy-duddy, but you will
get the same reaction from most commercial software
vendors.  Make that nearly ALL vendors.
