Emails in the Author field are likely to be too long to fit in that list, even if you remove the filename. I'd say go for the SF username, for five reasons: 1) it's a name developers know and love (or hate) 2) more information on a user can be found through SourceForge 5) that SF email address should work, too. It's where patch updates and stuff are sent, so most people are likely to have it forwarding to their PEP author address. Also, it's the way of least resistance.
