  Really!  I looked at some docs for the path names on that system,
and didn't come away so much as convinced DEC/Compaq knew what they
looked like.  Or where they stopped.  Or started.
  I think a fully general path algebra will be *really* hard to do,
but it's something I've thought about a little.  Don't know when I'll
have time to dig back into it.
