[Python-Dev] socket module changes

  The changes to the socket module are now complete.  Note two changes
to yesterdays plan:
  - there is no _dupless_socket; I just merged that into socket.py
  - make_fqdn() got renamed to getfqdn() for consistency with the rest
of the module.
  I also remembered to update smptlib.  ;)
  I'll be away from email during the day; Windows & BeOS users, please
test this!
