Agenda for November 19 TPWG call) from TOUBIANA Vincent on 2014-12-03 (public-tracking@w3.org from December 2014)

Dear all,

Please find bellow a proposal for issue-262. I assumed that there is a "G" response that we discussed in a previous call even though I did not find anything about that in the current documents.

Normative text:

For Servers in direct communication with the User Agent that then communicate further with other parties within the same interaction but outside direct communication with the User Agent:

· If they share tracking data about the interaction those servers SHOULD send a "G" response

· If they do not share tracking data about the interaction those servers SHOULD send a "N" response.

Sorry for the short notice before the call.

Best regards,

Vincent

I believe we're still waiting for specific text proposals on any changes to TPE in order to facilitate tracking status resources/responses from gateways and ad exchanges. I've created this wiki page for people to collect proposals:

        https://www.w3.org/wiki/Privacy/TPWG/Change_Proposal_Regarding_gateways_and_exchanges

I've added a link to Shane's text about consent (though I suspect that would actually be a Compliance change). Feel free to add more proposals there, although also send to the mailing list so that everyone can see.

Hope this helps,
Nick
